Our next selection is Kosher Soul by Michael W. Twitty.

The James Beard award-winning author of The Cooking Gene explores the cultural crossroads of Jewish and African diaspora cuisine and issues of memory, identity, and food.

Date/time TBA, at the home of Alice Twombly.

RSVP at [email protected] to let us know that you are coming.

The Kol HaNeshamah book club has been meeting 4-5 times a year for over 10 years!  We enjoy an eclectic selection of fiction and non-fiction, most with Jewish themes or by Jewish or Israeli authors.  Anyone is welcome to join us. We have started meeting in person, but participants also have the option of taking part over Zoom.

The Weight of Ink, by Rachel Kadish

We met on the morning of March 5th at the home of Alice Twombly for an interesting,      thought-provoking discussion of this historical novel about 17th Century Jewish life in London, particularly the roles of women.
