Services

At Kol HaNeshamah, our services are traditional yet informal and highly participatory. We are committed to egalitarian, Conservative Judaism.  Our rabbi as well as community members lead services, leyn from the Torah, and give divrei Torah (teachings about the weekly parsha). Questions and discussion are encouraged.  We welcome people from all backgrounds and levels of observance. For those who want to learn how to leyn (chant from the Torah or Haftorah), lead services, or participate in other ways, instruction is available, and our community is always happy to celebrate members’ new-found skills.

Shabbat and holiday morning services begin at 9:45.

We enjoy monthly Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat services with a dairy potluck dinner.
