Join us as KH turns 30 this year!

Thirty years of community, spirituality and chesed. To mark this milestone, we are embarking on an exciting series of monthly events over the coming year 5787, which we are calling KH@30, to bring us together in the many ways that have come to define KH.

THE EVENTS:

Progressive dinner Sukkah Dinner Sukkah Hop on September 30th.

Shabbaton, October 23-24, with visiting Visiting Rabbi Aviva Richman. Rabbi Richman is a Rosh Yeshiva at Hadar Institute and has been on the faculty since 2010. Her interests include Talmud, Halakhah, Midrash and gender, and also a healthy dose of nigunim. The Shabbaton is sponsored by the Center for Contemporary Judaica.

Mitzvah Day on Sunday November 8:

• Tenafly Nature Center Tree Planting 10:30-12pm.
• Open Store in Mackay Park, Englewood, NJ from 10-3pm. Donate fall/winter clothing and/or help out for an hour or more that day.
• Terri's Angels event at KH 3:30-5pm.

Hanukkah catered dinner and celebration on Friday December 4.

KH Anniversary Gala and Fundraiser on Saturday January 30.

Brunch 'N Learn with Miriam Anzovin, Sunday February 28.

Musical Shabbaton, March 19-20, with Visiting Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz, Director of Tefillah and Music at Hadar.

Welcome Home Shabbat, April 9-10, our young adult "children" and some former members visiting for Pesach, will join us!

Robust Contingent from KH to the Salute to Israel Parade in May (Date TBD).

KH Book Club, American Pastoral, by Philip Roth, June Date TBD.

Summer Picnic, July Date TBD.
